A dantesque race…Close to 550 km and more than 30 000 meters in slope…This 9th Corsica Raid Aventure made suffer the even strongest bodies mostly during the 1st non-stop stage, 4 days and 3 nights racers discovered Moriani and the micro-region of the Costa Verde, then the Valley of Orezza awful roller coasters.

A dazzling canyon coupled with a majestic rope section at San Nicolao di Moriani as well as a series of mountain trail sections between Moriani and the Castagniccia created large gaps to the benefits of the top 4 teams. Orienteering in those beautiful and wild valleys of the Island of Beauty never explored by the Corsica Raid Aventure will remain in the First Adventure Race in Europe competitors mind…

The following of the race gave the chance to discover the coastline of the Costa Verde before flying by tyrolean above the beach of Bravone to run 2 MTB sections at Poggio di Nazza and at Solaro in a wild and mysterious Corsica. A night of anthology later coupled with a Via Ferrata, a canyon, a MTB section and a swim in the river finally racers got the Marina of Solenzara where diner was awaiting…Coming up, diner and a concert of Corsican music in a friendly atmosphere like the Cote des Nacres can offer. As soon as the next day, the race for victory starts again between the Team Pedini Cucine and the Team Centre des Carmes Digne les Bains…

Big sensations in the canyon of Piscia di Gallu and the canyon of Vacca, lots of MTB with about 100 km and the traverse of the Coscionu mesa. However the fight stopped only during Friday night when an orienteering mistake during the adventure itinerary section gave the victory to the racers of Digne les Bains. At the finish at Porticcio, it is the Team Centre des Carmes Digne les Bains who won in front of the Italo - Corsican Team Pedini Cucine and the Team PSA-Sochaux.
