The Corsica Raid Aventure 2001 will have been a real monument…. The start had to be given the next day for 6 days and 5 nights stage that take racers from the peaks of Bavella to the Coscione plateau where one of the most beautiful orienteering section of the Corsica raid Aventure's history.…A pursuit race has started between the 3 leaders after the first days of race : Teams Dialink, Vaucluse Aventure and Vivre Raid have offered a hard fight, watch out each other's moves at each control marker !! At the finish, Vaucluse Aventure arrives first at the CP, but after passport checking, they will be declared out of race due to a missing control marker pinch…Big mistake giving the opportunity to Dialink led by Gilles Macherey to access the highest place on the podium in front of the teams VivreRaid et Thrustmaster…
