The total budget outlay for taking part in the Corsica Raid Aventure can fluctuate according to teams and needs.
Four principal areas of expenses :
- And possible equipment (needed or replacement).
To find the financing :
Several financing options are available and can often be accumulated:
- The sale of promotional items (T-shirts, stickers, caps), to close relations (colleagues, families, friends, customers, suppliers, etc.) presentation evenings with bingo or a lottery to raise money… These methods are the easiest to do and are also the most profitable concerning the effort needed.
- Sponsorships from several larger companies that can fulfil your team's needs in terms of transportation, vehicles, technical equipment, food and supplies, fuel… also have great results..
- Finance by smaller sponsors who wish to invest small amounts. (Suppliers, storekeepers, relations), in exchange for their logo on the race shirts. All the investments added together can amount to a substantial sum.
- A company of one of your team members could take part through their communication department or an executive branch of the company could help with your registration fee in the race
- Your city council and the tourist centre, the public organisations in your area, may be busy with requests but may offer help.
- Sponsors for teams who have good race records or people who are knowledgeable in convincing sponsors to come onboard.
This list is not exhaustive yet on the other hand there are people who do not have entrepreneurial skills and so they finance it themselves as a way of having an extraordinary holiday…
 Physical Training : Each of the team members must be physically at his/her best, and above all, multi-skilled.
For this a training plan should be put into action.
The Corsica Raid Aventure also requires specific training for the night stages, with little sleep, over a period of several days. The team members should know each other well and quickly determine the group's aim: whether it’s winning, or coming in the top three, or simply making it to the finish line together.
Physical Training Program : Depending on your level in each of the disciplines in the Corsica Raid Aventure, one or several training programs should be implemented depending on your needs and what you can invest in this program. These training programs can help you get the skills you need to enjoy your five-day race. Our organization’s professional staff offer personalized training programs based on these needs.
